"Science" And "The 60's USA" Screen Savers Do Not Work Properly

When your screen saver activates, the desktop displays a blank screen.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you do not have a background selected, you have either the Science or the The 60's USA screen savers selected, and all open windows are minimized.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

Select a background picture in Display Properties when you use the Science or The 60's USA screen savers.

-or-
Select a different screen saver.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition.
